I. can't. believe. it.
The trip is already here! I am so behind in packing and mentally prepping. I leave at 5:45 am so that makes dinner, sleep and last minute packing a little tricky tonight. I'll be up showering at 2am. Believe me, I WILL be showering before going 30 hours of travel with no shower other than a wipe-down or spit bath.
I had one major mishap last night when I discovered that my ATM card had been used fraudulently (although it was on my person) so the bank shut it down with a promise that I would get a new one in 5 short days. They assured me that, even with overnighting it, it would take 2 days and that I could go in to the branch and get a temp card. I silently freaked out and then loudly freaked out. After much prayer (thanks especially to my Eden tribe), I went in to the bank and had it resolved in less than 10 minutes. I left with peace and a new ATM card.
I am very excited, but I know it won't hit in its full magnitude until I am on board the plane wedged in my seat [hopefully next to a couple with the skinny girl sitting next to me--I like couples because they snuggle and leave my arm rest alone usually].
